A remote location, gorgeous surroundings, fresh air and great open spaces. Organic fields and fruit trees, a kitchen serving local sourced foods, vegetarian options, crafted hard ciders and fruit wines. Poetry reading and live folk music. It's like a step back in time during the days of hippies and co-ops. Gay Pride flags, signs that support BLM and other issues of the day are openly displayed. Ample parking, restrooms, and family friendly.
We had an excellent time at Finnriver. We visited on a day where they encouraged picnics, so we went down the road and purchased some takeout that we brought back for a picnic. The flights of cider were awesome. They had 16 different ciders on tap and in bottles. They also had multiple other ciders available only by the bottle. The staff was helpful, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the cider and cider production. We highly recommend making this a stop on your cider tour of the PNW.
What a perfect afternoon for fantastic cider and good food! We had booked the cidery orchard tour but unfortunately getting a rental car at the airport took almost an hour and a half so that curtailed our plans. We started with the flight of cider and had a hard time choosing with our next one would be. Really enjoyed the black, Golden noir and golden russet ciders. Food was amazing to including the oysters that are sourced less than 5 mi away, wood fire pizza that took less than 5 minutes and one of the most unique ramens I've had! The brat was also fantastic although my daughter found it a tad spicy. And did I mention the killer views! Very kid friendly and great atmosphere, thankfully the weather was perfect!
Good for a date night, evening out with friends or a family day out. Kids are allowed, but not pets. Weekend evenings there is live music. They have both a covered patio near the music as well as a big lawn with picnic tables and umbrellas where you can enjoy your drinks and food. A few outdoor games like Cornhole, hoolahoop for kids and adults to enjoy. Also a sandpit with old tractor tires and a small sand dune for kids to play in. You can also take a walk through their orchard, which begins with a giant wishing bell. Makes for a good half day/day trip from Seattle. In terms of food, good, but limited options of pizza from Dented Buoy Pizza, their in-house kitchen food options, crepes, vegan icecream and on some days a ramen food truck. Lots of cider options as well as a few non-alcoholic drinks.
We went to experience BrotherTownsend perform live. The outdoor games for the Littles was perfect. Pizza was delicious, and though packed, we had plenty of room to share a table with others.
Booked cider tasting and our lovely host Cougar was so informative and explained us how this farm from nothing to something big today happened. It was great day. My friends enjoyed it. We tasted a lot different ciders from sour to sweet to bitter and also the last cider was amazingly good. Unfortunately I forgot the name and forgot to click some pictures of it.
Also we had deliciously good pizza- thin crust nicely well baked and some vegan ramen.
Beautiful spot, lots of seats, games, and umbrellas. The food is tasty, one thing I wish I knew before I came is that on busy days cider flight options are fixed.
A really cool communal, active farm and cidery. Try a flight of cider, get a wood fire pizza (2 minutes, 4 minutes when super busy) and enjoy this cool spot.
